A third John who was in Ephesus at the beginning of the fifth century replacing seven corrupt bishops. At this time Jerome was finishing the Vulgate and it would include the Apocalypse. Also at this time five of the seven dynasties of Rome had fallen. Three Johns in the first chapter. Count them.
