A Marriage
A family. The child joins a man and a woman together. A Trinity in Their Image. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. The teachings of the Church hold the sanctity of Life, Marriage, and Family. It is the job of the laity to speak out on this if the bishops don’t.
A Necessary Ingredient
A saint is optional. Joseph was there to show us a father is not optional. It takes a father to start a family and it takes a father to keep it together. A father matters. A child does better with a father around. The teachings of the Church protect Life, Marriage, and Family. The laity must now speak out to make sure these teachings are not being ignored.
A Lighthouse
A light shining in the darkness so ships don’t crash on the rocks. The Church has been that light but today it is not shining so bright so the laity must do what they can to help preserve the Truth. The teachings of the Church are trustworthy but too often they are being ignored to make others comfortable. It is time for the laity to proclaim the good news to all nations.
A Change
a result of Vatican 2. So what was changed? Nothing. The spirit of Vatican 2 suggested everything could be changed and many set out to do just that. The official teachings of the Church have not been changed. They are just being ignored to make you more comfortable. Unfortunately way too many found more comfort by leaving the Church.
A Suffering Church
mentions clericalism. In short the priests can’t be any better than the laity. Really? We can’t find men who are holier than the laity? The letter also mentions homosexual. In short a disorder. Not a good place to start when looking for those who are holier. The last three popes have directed that they should not be ordained. The bishops continue to ignore these directives. They are also ignoring the teachings of the Church.
A Break
and welcome all sinners to the Church by stressing mercy, forgiveness, and charity. The teachings of the Church often make us uncomfortable and should not be emphasized. Don’t worry, the teachings of the Church will not be changed. We just need to ignore them for the time being to make others feel comfortable. Everyone needs approval. Acceptance. This is what Jesus would do. So what should I do about climate change? You are making me uncomfortable.
A Good Thing
along with forgiveness and charity. Without it we become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Mercy is not ours to give. We must forgive but we must not forget the sin or try to normalize it. The teachings of the Church must be protected by those we can trust. The laity must hold the bishops accountable. We were warned.
