A Questioner –
A person who is interested in me. Socrates. He could learn from anyone. I had an uncle who could do that He would force you to think. Something I love to do.

A Thinker Questions Everything –
A person you couldn’t trust. A situation you couldn’t control. I learned detachment. A reasonable reaction to what is unreasonable.

A Thinker –
A talent that must be used. You can’t overthink anything. Take the time to do it before you say or do anything. I think therefore I am. Think about that.

A Better Listener –
A suggestion from my father. Don’t forget to listen. He knew me well. I spent too much time thinking about what I was going to say. It is time to listen.

A need to make sense of everything. My dad often said to me, “Sometimes we think too much.” One Christmas his brother gave all my brothers and sisters a dollar but gave me this cartoon of someone sitting behind a desk with the caption, “I am so smart I make myself sick”. I didn’t like being singled out so early in life and had to think about that.

A Thinker. A seeker of truth. A voice crying in the wilderness. A commentator on the Apocalypse. Reasonably smart. I use reason, logic, and the common meaning of words. The Lord is my Shepherd. 31
