A Time For Good Will –
A falling away. The signs are there. Pay attention to the signs. Peace is for men of good will. He came not to send peace but a sword. There is a lot of talk about forgiveness, mercy, and obedience. That’s the good news. Check your good will if you want peace. This is a test. Look for beauty. It will inspire you. Not so much with the bad news.
A Time That Was Near –
A lamb. John the Baptist was preparing the way for the lamb. The word lamb is found 27 times in the Apocalypse. The time was at hand for the first coming. John the Baptist was the first John who bare record. There would be two more. The Apostle who knew the seven churches and Chrysostom who would be in Ephesus replacing seven bishops.
A Comfort by Reading –
A Blessing for he that overcometh. Blessed is he that readeth, watcheth, and keepeth what has been prophesied. That is not to say we shouldn’t work to make it better but not to be discouraged by what seems to be a hopeless situation. Never despair but if you do, work on in despair. The time is near.

A Mystery And Likely To Remain So –
A fit with history like no other. Many waters, seven hills, seven heads, ten horns, is fallen, is fallen, merchants, and can be found no more at all. No other city can claim all this. It is a real mystery why others have not found this. The only reason for this is it has not been revealed to them. Knowledge shall be increased when the end is near.
A First Coming
A kingdom at hand. The time was near. John the Baptist knew the Lamb, a word used 27 times in the Apocalypse. He wrote the first one. Later John the apostle added Jesus and the seven churches. He knew about the followers of John the Baptist in Ephesus. There must be a third John.

A Lamb of God. A “bare record” clearly points to John the Baptist. So does the word “lamb”. This also explains why the time is at hand. He was preparing the way for the first coming. John the apostle knew all this when he added the seven churches and Jesus to his version of the Apocalypse.

John the Baptist did not know Jesus was the Lamb of God. John the Apostle knew that and was also aware of his following.

A Chance To Make A Difference
A cost of change. Elections have consequences. The bill is now due. You have to pay the piper even if you have to borrow money to do it. Print it if you can. Either way you pay. The cost of ending life is also going up but they will find a way to help you pay for it. Even the FBI is on the case.
A Wilderness
A preparation. Repent for the time is near for the first coming. The voice of John the Baptist. That was then and now the time is near for the second coming. The message is the same. Prepare the way. Repent. He is the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come. Get ready.
