a time to defend democracy. This is not about racism. This is about Marxism. Your freedom is at stake. Freedom of speech. Religious freedom. We have some bad people. You cannot negotiate with them. Law enforcement is the only thing standing between you and them. Let others know where you stand even though it will not be well received.

Our freedom is in danger because we have a mentally incapacitated wannabe dictator in the Oval Office. His own former defense secretary James Mattis says he’s a threat to the Constitution. Did Fox news tell you that?
Law enforcement isn’t the friendly cop on the street corner you might prefer to think it is. It’s over-militarized, ill-trained in de-escalation, dangerously biased towards people of color – to the point of death. Did you dare to look at George Floyd when he was dying? Did you see how they lied about what happened to him in the police report? They said “he appeared to be suffering medical distress.” How do you trust them after that? How about their lying about the 75-year-old protester that they shoved to the ground, splitting his skull and causing him brain damage? (“An individual slipped and fell.”) I watched so much police violence agains non-violent protestors… and even as I asked myself “is this my country?” I knew the answer… as a white person, my country treated me far differently than a person of color, and I didn’t realize. I experienced one country, they experienced another. All these either I didn’t know, or I didn’t fully grasp it. Simply by watching the government in action in Lafayette Square and the police in multiple cities… it’s clearer now, but I still have so much to learn.
Law and order… authoritarians need law and order. Keeps people between the lines set for them by someone else, someone in power, whether it be political power, religious power, or cultural power. Heaven forbid someone try to draw their own lines.
