a need to remember

A Family –

A wife and children of Charlie Kirk. He wasn’t afraid to speak the truth. The importance of religion, faith, family, and having a father in the home. This father has been killed but he will be remembered as long as we don’t forget what he stood for. Time for us to stand up for it. We can’t let anyone forget it.

a lesson learned late in life

A Necessary Moderation –

A health issue due to excessive consumption. Coffee and beer. The beer one was easy. I got gout. A nurse on the internet told me everything I needed to know. The coffee one I had figured out myself. It started with the 12 cup coffee maker. I now have the 5 cup and have to leave 2 cups for her. I still drink beer but only 2 or 3 instead of 4 or 5. Moderation in all things including moderation. BTW I still smoke, a pipe, once a day and don’t inhale.

a reason to believe

A Home For Doubt –

A necessary explanation for what we experience.  We have to make sense of it.  To ignore it is to deny reality.  To deny objectivity.  Call it speculation, conjecture, or whatever but please accept the fact that there must be a reason, a purpose, a meaning, etc.  At least ask the question why.  There must be a reasonable explanation.

a prince

A Translation Problem –

A commander or another interpretation problem if you are looking for the king of the north. There are eight different words in 52 different translations: princes 24, commanders 10, officers 7, officials 5, generals 2, leaders 2, principalities 1, subordinates 1. The word prince suggests a family member unlike the other seven words which have a similar meaning. Makes you wonder about words used in other parts of the bible. These are major differences in words used before you get to the problem of interpreting them. Reader beware.
