A Truth –

A sea of lies. “The Emperor Has No Clothes” We shouldn’t have to rely on a child to speak the truth. You have to admire one who is willing to speak the truth when lies seem to rule the day.

Daily writing prompt
What is something others do that sparks your admiration?

a news program

A List Of Problems –

A waste of time worrying about things you can do nothing about. Complaining. I could do less complaining. That is a double negative which should be a positive. Why not just be positive by appreciating what you have? Life.

Daily writing prompt
What could you do less of?

a wild animal

A Patio –

A water dish for the birds but others take a drink including feral cats. Just like birds, there can never be too many cats. They belong outside. They take care of the rats. There will always be too many rats. I never see them at the dish.

Daily writing prompt
Do you ever see wild animals?

a favorite place

A City –

A church and a bar on every corner. Saturday night at the bar. Sunday morning at the church. A dialogue with like minded people. A place to worship with like minded people. A T-shirt with a church on the front and a bar on the back. Wear it proudly.

Daily writing prompt
What is your favorite place to go in your city?

a time

A Need –

A want to fight the good fight. To finish the race and to keep the faith. There is a time for us. A time for appreciation. A time to love. A time to respect others with different beliefs. A time to repent. Take the time and do it.

Daily writing prompt
Do you need time?

a disorder

A Life Without Mozart –

A life without order. Mozart created beauty by putting all the notes in the right order. Confusion leads to depression. Music at first is just another distraction but one that can give us hope for a world that makes sense. We need this to believe that there is truth and we need only to look for it.

Daily writing prompt
What would your life be like without music?

a lesson

A Reason To Listen –

A good friend will listen to you. An ear to hear what another person is saying. An understanding will lead to a good conversation. A dialogue. We can learn something from everyone we come in contact with. Be a good neighbor.

Daily writing prompt
Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

a good week

A Few Good Days –

A morning bike ride with no dogs on the trail. A red sky at dawn. A good post without any new changes with WordPress. A breakfast with soft boiled eggs. No rabbits digging in my patio pots. Birds in the water dish. Cats rolling on the floor begging for attention. A football team that can score at least 17 points. That would be ideal.

Daily writing prompt
Describe your ideal week.

a will

A Test –

A purpose for what we are experiencing.  What will we do with our will?  It must be free but not without consequences.  Suffering is a necessary ingredient.  How will you react to it?  You will need help and you will get it if you ask for it.  Can you believe that?  You have to believe.  Hope will lead you.  You have to want this.

a sinner

A Seeker Of Truth –

A person who is relying on His mercy. One who is not worthy of all the gifts that he has received but grateful none the less. That doesn’t stop me from asking for more like charity. Without it I am but a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. Thanks Paul.

Daily writing prompt
How would you describe yourself to someone?
