A beast in the making. Babylon and Rome destroyed the first and second Temples. They are beasts. Greece is also a beast based on the desecration of the second Temple by Antiochus IV Epiphanes. What is in the holy place now preventing the third Temple? The Dome of the Rock makes Islam the fourth beast.

A revelation in Daniel. What makes a beast a beast? Daniel knows beasts and abominations. Jesus wanted us to pay attention to them. An abomination is something that you do to the holy place. The Temple. Only a beast would mess with the Temple. With only two Temples, how do you get four beasts?

A year, a starting point, a date. Nearly all products have a mark or a date marking the beginning of its existence. A beast will also have a starting point and in most cases an end point. There could be an exception. One was diverse from all the beasts that were before it. How do we identify a beast?

A great sword and power to take peace from the earth. Mohammed is the rider, the Antichrist and the father of Islam which is the fourth beast of Daniel and the second beast of the Apocalypse. The other threat to Christianity is Marxism. Marx, the rider of black horse, is the father of Communism from the Black Sea.

A desolation. What is in the holy place now? The Dome of the Rock is preventing the third temple and that makes Islam a beast different from all the others. The “ten horns” are the ten dynasties of Islam. Counted by Islamic sources. The Ottoman Empire, the tenth dynasty, ended the thousand year Christian empire, The Byzantine Empire, in 1453.

The first beast, Rome, whose deadly wound was healed was replaced by the second beast Islam. The Byzantine Empire fits with all the numbers you can trust. You can’t trust interpretation.

A fit with history. Constantinople is Babylon the Great and Islam is the beast that hated the whore. It is a mystery and likely to remain so but the fit with history cannot be denied. It is fallen, is fallen, and can be found no more at all. It had merchants. It has many waters. It has seven mountains. No other city fits like Constantinople.

A Connection With Chapters 9, 11, 17, and 20 –
A beast that was, and is not, and yet is. This beast has seven heads and ten horns. It comes out of the pit before it is locked up in chapter 20. This means the chapters are not in chronological order which is consistent with the theory of Recapitulation first introduced by Victorinus in the third century.

A Translation Issue
A beast. Your bible could have as many as 296 beasts or as few as 87. There are 20 translations that consider the beast in Revelation 13:1 a ‘he’ and 37 translations call it an ‘it’. This is a significant difference. Daniel 7:7 can help us here. The fourth beast is an it in all 52 translations. It has ten horns just like the beast in Revelation.
