A Football Game –
A team we couldn’t stop. I was left line backer and they scored on their first two possessions. They were on their way to a third one when the coach pulled me out. On the sideline I was able to see what they were doing and told the coach to put me in at left end and I would stop it. He did and they never made another first down. We won the game.

A Bike Ride Before Dawn –
A difficult dailyprompt. I do look forward to the dailyprompt but today cannot do. It takes you out of your comfort zone and forces you to think about a life experience that applies. Thank you for these opportunities and sorry I can’t really participate today.

A Book Titled “Catch 22” –
A book I read again after the movie came out. The first time I ever laughed out loud. A great movie and a great book. There were many other forgettable ones. Many that I remembered not finishing.

A Duty First –
A chore to do. As a young boy on the farm I had to take care of the animals while it was still dark. As an old man I ride my bike outside before the sun comes up. Before that I do the dailyprompt. Promptly to get attention. Look at me. I have something to say.

A replacement of all the furniture in a two bedroom house.

A Show Called Seinfeld –
A few interesting characters. It was the only series that I got hooked on but only after it was over and I could watch it everyday. I didn’t care about how it ended. I just wanted to watch it over and over again.

A person who is interested in me. Socrates. He could learn from anyone. I had an uncle who could do that He would force you to think. Something I love to do.

A faith is the opposite of fear which is not immediately obvious. Church is the best place. Grab one.

A person you couldn’t trust. A situation you couldn’t control. I learned detachment. A reasonable reaction to what is unreasonable.

A Strange Movie –
A great cast. “The Man Who Wasn’t There” Didn’t expect the music which was great. Got the CD. Billy Bob Thornton and Frances McDormand were great. I need to buy this one.
