A chance to watch the grandchildren grow. To wonder about what you would do differently. Just show up and be there. There will come a time when you can’t even do that. Then you have to just hope they will show up and be there.

A Bible In A Year –
A study with my wife and daughter who is a stay at home mom. Our daughter suggested that we meet twice a week to discuss it. We are now a third of the way through it. The most interesting part is this concept of wrestling with God.

A proof for the existence of God being discussed in a bar. She never heard it. She was talking to a priest who I was hoping could find me a place to live temporarily. The priest was sure she could. I offered to buy her lunch to talk about it. A Catholic Fulbright Scholar who didn’t know how to prove the existence of God. Somehow she needed to hear about it.
