A Quiet Room –
A place to escape from the world. A dark room. A recliner. A warm floor. A cool ceiling. A perfect temperature and humidity. Fresh air with smell of roses. Air barely moves.

A clear winner. I should say Apocalypse. It is the book that got me reading the Bible. Over twenty five years ago I decided to try and connect history to prophecy using numbers and colors. Words that aren’t misinterpreted. A thousand years, 666, ten horns, and seven heads. About ten years ago I started using WorldPress.

A Happy One –
A lesson a day is the way to stay happy. Study the Bible. I started twenty five years ago with the Apocalypse. BibleGateway has 60 different English translations. Take the word bow and you will find that it really means rainbow and a covenant with God. Take the Bible and start learning.

A Morning Bike Ride –
A fourteen year habit started when I was 71. Twenty minutes before the sun comes up. There is just enough light in the local mall to keep me safe. Flexing unloaded joints may be the best part. Breathing cool clean air may also help. I check the temperature, wind speed, and radar before going out.

A Hard Year –
A marriage saved. To save money or to save my two kids?? I don’t know. There was a new job. A new state. A big move. Later asked my brother what the secret was. He said, “Don’t give up.” I’ll leave it at that.

A Razors Edge 1946 –
A Sophie MacDonald played by Anne Baxter was a character you didn’t want to lose. Don’t know if she was that attractive in the book. A sequel with a better ending is in order. With someone who knows whom not to hang around with.

A Judas has been called the patron saint of social justice. Doing something for the poor may satisfy the guilt that we all have. Give unto Caesar what you can’t give to God. Caesar may be able to do what you are not doing.

A Place In New England –
A place where I found a job when I had a wife and two children. Far from in-laws and friends we checked out all New England had to offer. The job only lasted four years but the family lasted long enough to create two more. Then there were only two places where we wanted to live.
