There are way too many different interpretations of way too many different translations of the bible to confirm any fulfillment of prophecy. A connection with history and prophecy. The translators didn’t know the meaning of numbers and colors so they were forced to use the literal sense of these words. With many of the other words they were able to translate the meaning and that is why we have so many different versions of the bible. We can’t understand any of it until it is revealed to us and when it is we will know that the end is near. And that’s the truth.

A Number –

They all agree on a thousand years, 666, ten horns, seven heads, and five are fallen. Numbers can be used to connect history with prophecy which is the only way to verify the fulfillment of prophecy.

A Horn Of Plenty –
A connection to Daniel. The “ten horns” of the fourth beast of Daniel are tied to the second beast of the Apocalypse. A Julian Calendar –
A Hijri marked the beginning of Islam in 622 of the Gregorian calendar which didn’t start until 1582. Before that, the Julian calendar was in effect. The common year, 44 BC, has the Hijri in 666 of the Julian calendar. Most bible translations calculate this number. A sea of glass mingled with fire is an interesting fit.

A history of Rome by Gibbon. Go ahead, pick an Islamic calendar converter and put 46 in it. You get 666. 46 is the number Gibbon used. 46 years after the Hijri year Constantinople was attacked. A date is a mark. Gibbon notes the problems with dates. There are other ways to get to 666. Stay tuned.

A Greek Fire –
A significant passage in the Apocalypse. In defense of Constantinople they used Greek Fire on the Sea of Marmara which was like a sheet of glass and the year was 666. A sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name. Islam.
