A necessary connection to the Apocalypse. How it became part of the bible. Many did not think it belonged there. John Chrysostom was one of them and he was in Ephesus when Jerome was finishing the Vulgate. Astronomy points to Chrysostom as the writer of the Apocalypse according to Morozov. There are other reasons.

A Great City –
A capital of an empire that lasted a thousand years. It has many waters, seven hills, and world trade. It is fallen, is fallen, and can be found no more at all. It is a mystery and likely to remain so. It is Constantinople. No other city fits like this great city. You can’t go back to Constantinople. It can be found no more at all.

A Bare Record –
A connection. A bare record ties John the Baptist to John the Apostle and the Lamb of God. Just the word “lamb” ties John the Baptist to the Apocalypse. Only John the Apostle knew John the Baptist knew the Lamb of God. The original Apocalypse was about the first coming, which must shortly come to pass, to prepare the way.

A Big Number –
A place to start. There is only one Christian empire that lasted a thousand years. It was attacked in the year 666. It was ended by the 10th dynasty of Islam. It was started by the Roman Empire that had seven dynasties. This is a good start. Does it fit with the other parts? We shall see. The “ten horns” are a clue in Daniel. Look for the number of years.

A bare record. A revelation to shew unto his servants. That’s plural. There is more than one John. John the Baptist who bare record. John the Apostle to the seven churches. John Chrysostom who also am your brother. It’s complicated but I can explain if you are really interested.

A number for verification. Interpretation of numbers is not necessary. 1000 is 1000. 666 is 666. Ten is ten. Seven is seven. Use these numbers to connect prophecy with history. Only history with numbers can confirm the fulfillment of prophecy. Can you trust anyone’s interpretation? You can’t. Trust the numbers. And colors.

A distribution system. “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” A perfect society but first we have to lose the religion, freedom of speech, and freedom. Marx, the rider of the black horse is a threat to religion. Religion is a threat to Marxism which has infiltrated the Church and is called social justice which is replacing religion.

A Reliable Source –
A reason to believe in the bible. Only history can confirm the fulfillment of prophecy. Only numbers and colors can reliably connect history and prophecy. Do all the different bibles agree on anything? Numbers and colors. They don’t need to be interpreted. Unlike many other words that seem to demand it.

A Recapitulation –
A commentary on the Apocalypse by Victorinus who introduced the theory of recapitulation. Without it misinterpretation is likely. The visions of John cannot be understood to be in chronological order. Each vision should be considered independent of the others. Some are a repetition of others. Recapitulation is a necessary tool in understanding the Apocalypse.
