A Fit 

with history, Greek Fire, and the Sea of Marmara that included a thousand year Christian empire and a leading candidate for Babylon the Great surviving the first attack by the second beast.  Here the Sea of Marmara was like a sheet of glass.  This “huge armada proceeded on a smooth sea” and the “fire-ships of the Greeks were launched against them”  The year was 666. Revelation 15:2
